Our Commercial Real Estate Group provides experienced and knowledgeable advice to developers, investors, syndicators, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in all types of commercial real estate activities, including transaction structuring, land and asset acquisition, financing, re-zoning, marketing, construction, leasing and project management. Our clients range from privately-held, entrepreneurial companies to institutions and government bodies.

Since 2008 we have acted on more large real estate transactions than any other law firm in Vancouver, according to the lists released annually by respected publicationBusiness in Vancouver.

Our project expertise ranges from residential and mixed-use, bare land, strata and air space subdivisions to shopping centres, office buildings, industrial assets, resort and recreational properties, hotels and public houses and specialized facilities including complex private community developments and public mega-projects. In addition, we have extensive experience with a variety of public-private partnerships. Members of the group are active in numerous industry associations.

As an ongoing service to the British Columbia Real Estate industry, we have created, “The Deal Maker’s Toolbox”, a user friendly, searchable website featuring downloadable documents, articles, interest rates, links, calendar of events and other useful material. The Build a Deal portion of the site is intended to help users gather information to analyze opportunities and ultimately produce a letter of intent to settle the business terms of a purchase.
